Mountains of Gold is the third album release for multi award-winning songwriter, Karen Craigie. Originating from Sydney, Karen has been songwriting, recording and singing since she was a child. She has released singles and albums under numerous monikers, writing and co-writing songs for dozens of artists and for her own catalogue.

Karen’s music has been featured in film and on TV, and enjoyed International radio play, widespread in-store rotation across Europe and America and solid award-recognition. 

Written and recorded at Love Hz Studios, Mountains of Gold is a powerful combination of stunning lyrics and heartfelt vocals, delivered with the signature slick production of Golden Guitar-winning producer, Matt Fell.

The first (Lonely Town) and second (So Long) singles the from the album, have spent a combined 17 weeks in the Country Songs Top 40 Australian aiplay charts, and also made the Daily Play MPE Australian and Country Stream/Download charts and Official Tasmanian Country Top 30 charts.

Tracks from Mountains of Gold have won multiple Australian and International songwriting awards. Lonely Town and So Long have even scored two coveted American Songwriting Award nominations.
